Macaron Kitchen began with a simple idea: beautiful, handmade macarons made properly — not mass-produced.
What started as weekend baking in our home kitchen quickly became an obsession with perfect shells, silky fillings, and flavours that taste exactly as they should.
No shortcuts.
No factory mixes.
No artificial extras.
Just real baking.
Real Ingredients. Nothing You Can’t Pronounce.
We believe food should be made from ingredients you actually recognise and can buy from the supermarket.
That means:
✓ Ground almonds
✓ Free-range eggs
✓ Real butter & cream
✓ Proper chocolate
✓ Fruit purées & nuts
✓ Natural flavourings
And absolutely:
✗ No E numbers
✗ No artificial preservatives
✗ No powdered “just add water” mixes
✗ No industrial stabilisers or thickeners - We do have to use gelatin in some fillings to ensure the product gets to you in perfect condition - but you can find this in every supermarket!
If it wouldn’t belong in a home kitchen cupboard, we don’t use it.
Because macarons should taste like raspberries, not “raspberry flavouring”.
Small Batch Always
Every batch is made by hand in small quantities.
Our shells are piped individually, rested properly, and baked with care — not rushed on production lines.
We use the Italian meringue method for consistency and that signature crisp-outside, soft-inside texture.
Once baked, each macaron is filled and matured overnight to develop flavour and texture before dispatch.
It’s slower.
But it’s better.
